DESCRIPTION

The assistant will have:


-         To provide support in the economic-administrative justification of funds for R&D projects, including the management of travel justification processes.

-         To review the costs associated with the operation of scientific equipment: maintenance, repairs, spare parts, consumables, laboratory technician costs and other indirect costs (electricity, gases, etc.)

-         To develop and apply the tariff system to charge the costs for the use of scientific equipment for external services and R&D projects (R&D grants and industrial collaboration R&D projects)

-         To analyse the requirements and conditions of the different sources of funding

-         To report information on the use of equipment and fees applied, both internally and externally

-         To keep the information related to each scientific equipment (economic data, label and photo, serial number, location, responsible, user guides, etc.).

-         To provide support in the processes of incorporation and on boarding of researchers.

-         To provide support in the management of the training and development program.

The assistant will collaborate closely with the technicians in charge of each scientific equipment, the R&D project managers, the accounting and finance department and the HR department.

REQUIREMENTS

Vocational Training/Formación Profesional grado Medio o Superior.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in similar position. Previous experience as an accounting technician, preferably in cost accounting will be highly valued.
  • English level B2
  • User of the Office package, accounting and project management software.
  • Methodical person with analytical skills.
  • Good communication and team work skills.


Candidates must be:

  • Be over 16 years of age and under 30 years of age.
  • Be registered as an unemployed job seeker in one of the employment offices of the Community of Madrid.

This contract will be funded by the Call for grants for implementing the INVESTIGO programme within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
