DESCRIPTION

Research activities will be focused on the application of first principles simulations and machine learning algorithms to explore the influence of large elastic strains of the catalytic properties of metallic and metal-oxide surfaces. The final goal is to develop a high-throughput methodology to design new catalysts taking into account the effect of mechanical deformations.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor/Master degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline.  Fluent English (written and oral).  Expertise in computational methods will be valued.

Candidates must be:

  • Be over 16 years of age and under 30 years of age.
  • Be registered as an unemployed job seeker in one of the employment offices of the Community of Madrid.

This contract will be funded by the Call for grants for implementing the INVESTIGO programme within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
