We are looking for a post-doctoral Research Associate with expertise in the synthesis of metallic nanoparticles by spark discharge and their application to treat parasitic diseased. Experience in materials for biological applications, cell culture and biological evaluation would be specially considered.
Candidates should hold a PhD in materials science, physics, chemistry, medical science, biotechnology, or related discipline.
Desirable experience in biological evaluation of materials (in vitro).
Confident at being hands-on in the lab and an excellent self-starter.
Quick learner and comfortable working in novel environments.
Ability to set up new experiments based on the requirements.
Good communication skills.
Fluent English (written and oral).
Availability for incorporation in January 2023.
