Research Technician

We are looking for an energetic and motivated research technician that will carry out a significant amount of mechanical testing (including data analysis), materials´ characterization (metallographic preparation of samples for optical and electron microscopy, including cutting, mounting, mechanical polishing, etching, and electropolishing), and heat treatments.


Preferably bachelors degree (grado) in materials science, metallurgy or engineering, or FP Técnico de Análisis y Control.

Ideally with experience in the following areas:

  • Mechanical testing.
  • Hardness testing.
  • Sample preparation for optical and electron microscopy.
  • Thermomechanical treatments.

English: at least intermediate level.

Computer skills: MS Office, Windows, internet.


Full time contract including social security coverage.
