This project will involve the development of new high entropy alloys by liquid phase sintering (casting) and solid phase sintering (spark plasma sintering). In addition the materials will be microstructural (SEM, TEM, EBSD, EDX, DRX, LECO) and mechanically (nanoindentation, hardness, tensile tests,...) characterized.
Candidates should hold PhD in Materials Science, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering with excellent academic credentials and a strong commitment to develop an academic career in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
Full time contract including social security coverage. Salary depending on previous experience and credentials.
