Research Assistant (PhD student) in Digital Technologies for Composite Processing

IMDEA Materials is looking for a PhD candidate to work in the research project TEMACOM funded by the Innovation Hub Project of the Community of Madrid 2019. Research activities will be focused in the development of new digital technologies based on machine learning algorithms and sensor information for the optimization of processing of composite materials by liquid moulding.


Candidates should hold a MS in Math, Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics or any other related discipline with excellent academic credentials and a strong commitment to develop an academic career in an international and multidisciplinary environment. Fluent English (oral and written) is required. Starting from April 2019. The vacancy will be closed as soon as we find the right candidate.
