IMDEA Materials Institute is a public research organization founded in 2007 by Madrid’s regional government to carry out research of excellence in Material Science and Engineering by attracting talent from all over the world to work in an international and multidisciplinary environment. The Bio/Chemo/Mechanics of Materials research group is looking for a post-doctoral research associate to carry out detailed biological characterization (citocompatibility, cell differentiation and proliferation, etc.) on scaffold of metallic alloys manufactured by selective laser melting for different biomedical applications.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Materials Science or Biomedical engineering (or related discipline) and an excellent research record for his/her age and experience. Fluent English (written and oral) is required. Experience in biological characterization of metallic materials for biomedical applications will be valued.
Selected candidates will be offered a six-months full-time contract with social security coverage as a post-doctoral research associate. The contract will be supported by the MAD2D-CM project
