There are different opportunities for students to join IMDEA Materials and gain experience in material science and research. As part of their studies, students can do their internship, final year project or placement in one of the Institute's research groups.
Additionally, IMDEA Materials opens its Research Initiation Fellowship (RIF) call every year. This call offers students the opportunity to join an international and multidisciplinary team and work on a research project for three months. Fellowships are directed to top final year undergraduate or master students interested in research that are looking for a unique opportunity to explore the field of Materials Science and Engineering and to be part of an international and multidisciplinary research group.
