The objective of the position is to assist the Building Infrastructure Manager in the supervision of all corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance operations of the facilities of the company's headquarters building, as well as of the strategies leading, modifying new or existing facilities and installing scientific equipment.
He/she will collaborate in ensuring the viability and operability of the facilities according to the budget, will support in the definition of the institute's energy saving and efficiency policy and in the implementation of the actions agreed therein, as well as in the coordination and management of waste.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
- Assisting the Infrastructure and Facilities Manager.
- Coordination and supervision of general maintenance, security, cleaning services, gardening, laboratory furniture maintenance, industrial gases, waste, etc.
- Participate in carrying out inspections and checks of facilities and machinery to identify and solve operating problems, ensure their functionality and maximum performance with energy efficiency criteria, collaborating in the definition, implementation and management of energy saving and efficiency policies.
- Monitoring and optimization of electricity, water and gas consumption.
- Support to occupational risk prevention activities.
- Provide technical support to PIs in the installation of scientific equipment and laboratory design (technical facilities and spaces).
- Collaborate in the definition, implementation and management of waste policies.
- Coordinate contracts with different suppliers.
- Coordinate works in the building.
- Assist in the management of the assigned budget and make financial forecasts.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Demonstrable experience in similar position greater than 2 years.
- Experience in technical installations of air conditioning (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), domestic hot water, energy efficiency and renewable energies, plumbing and sanitation, legionellosis prevention, electrical systems (high and low voltage) and centralized control (BMS), lighting, UPS and generators, fire protection (detection and extinction), compressed air and vacuum, industrial gases, metal and wood carpentry, etc.
- Professional knowledge of sector regulations (RITE, REBT, RAT, RIPCI, CTE, legionellosis prevention, etc.).
Desirable:
- Experience working with AutoCAD.
- Professional knowledge of equipment and machinery installation, as well as renewable energy systems.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
EDUCATION
- Industrial Technical Engineer, Civil Engineer or equivalent.
- Intermediate level of English (B1/B2).
- Full-time contract. Salary based on experience and skills.
