Description

Advanced characterisation techniques based on in situ electron back-scatterer diffraction and high-resolution digital image correlation in combination with diffraction contrast tomography will be used to analyze the deformation and fracture micromechansims of advanced Mg alloys.


Requirements

The candidate should hold a BEng/MSc in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physical Metallurgy or related field.

Fluent written/spken english is mandatory

Experience of mechanical characterisation as well as microcopy techniques will be valued.


Conditions

Contract will full social security coverage until the end of 2024.
