Post-doc Researcher Position in Photocatalysis

Description
  • The project is about the development of halide perovskite-based materials and their investigation as photocatalysts for solar energy conversion to chemical energy.
  • The focus of the project will be the design and in-depth characterization of new halide perovskite compositions and the investigation of their photocatalytic functionalities for redox model reactions and polymer recycling.

Requirements
  • PhD degree in Chemistry or Materials Science, within the last for 4 years
  • Knowledge of nanostructured materials synthesis and experience with photocatalysis and photoreactors is required.
  • Experience with operational and analytical tools such as GC and HPLC
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills in English

Conditions
  • The project will be funded by the ATRAE grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
  • Full-time contract, including social security coverage and benefits. The initial contract will be for 1 year with the possibility of further extension.
  • The position needs to be filled as soon as possible but will remain open until it is occupied. This position will be closed after 20 working days from the publication date.
